Growing older should mean greater freedom to enjoy the finer things in life.  For many older adults; however, aging means the loss of sight due to cataracts.  Cataracts are the leading cause of poor vision among adults.  More than 65% of adults over the age of 60 suffer from cataracts.

When the lens of an eye becomes cloudy, it is known as a cataract.  Cataracts often cause vision to become blurry and yellow tinted over time.  The vision loss caused by cataracts can drastically lower a person's quality of life and restrict many activities.

Cataracts do not need to restrict the many activities we love.  Thanks to recent advances in cataract removal procedures, a person can return to a normal life in a few days. There is no longer a need to live without good vision due to cataracts. Our physician and staff will be happy to answer your questions regarding cataracts.
